Jindal Stainless Limited, the largest stainless steel manufacturer in India, reported that its sales volume amounted to 1,011,292 tons in the fiscal year 2022, rising by 23% compared to the previous year.

In the fourth quarter, the company’s sales volume reached 269,168 tons, a quarter-on-quarter increase of 9% and a year-on-year hike of 6%.

Jindal Stainless said that the increase in sales volume was due to its supply chain and a flexible product portfolio that focuses on value-added products.

Jindal Stainless increased its exports although the global supply of raw materials has been disrupted and logistics are fluctuating. The company’s share of exports in total sales doubled to 32% in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022 year on year.
