Kaiser Aluminum has net loss of $14 million in Q2

According to a report from Kaiser Aluminum, a US-based aluminum producer, in the second quarter of this year, the company’s net sales totaled US$954 million, the value-added revenue was US$376 million, the net loss was US$14 million, and the adjusted EBITDA was US$41 million, mainly due to strong demand in general engineering and packaging sectors and the recovered aerospace demand as expected.

In the first half of the year, Kaiser Aluminum had net sales of US$1.9 billion, a value-added revenue of US$747 million, a net loss of US$6 million, and an adjusted EBITDA of US$96 million.
