Liberty House intends to acquire Alcoa's Spanish Ciprián aluminum smelter

It was reported that Liberty House Group, owned by British-based tycoon Sanjeev Gupta, intended to acquire Alcoa's San Ciprián aluminum smelter in Spain.
Alcoa previously had a consultation with the workforce representatives of San Ciprián aluminum smelter on the dismissal issue on May 28. However, the talk was ended on August 4 without reaching an agreement.
