LME aluminium benchmark price closes the week with a drop of US$5/t; SHFE price moves down to US$2,613/t

On Friday, October 13, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price went down by US$4.5 per tonne or 0.20 per cent and US$5 per tonne or 0.20 per cent to settle at US$2,175.50 per tonne and US$2,176 per tonne.

LME aluminium 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price descended by US$6.5 per tonne or 0.29 per cent and US$7 per tonne or 0.31 per cent to peg at US$2,200.50 per tonne and US$2,201 per tonne.

December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price dropped by US$8 per tonne 0.34 per cent to halt at US$2,322 per tonne and US$2,327 per tonne. LME aluminium opening stock clocked at 488625 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 193300 tonnes and 295325 tonnes.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price increased by US$18.92 per tonne or 0.85 per cent to clock at US$2,200.11 per tonne.
