On November 21, the LME aluminium cash bid stood at USD 2,765 per tonne, down 0.47 per cent from USD 2,778 on November 20. The cash offer slipped to USD 2,765.5 per tonne, also a 0.47 per cent drop from USD 2,778.5 previously.
The three-month bid fell to USD 2,791 per tonne, a 0.68 per cent decline from USD 2,810 per tonne, while the three-month offer price eased to USD 2,792 per tonne, down 0.68 per cent from USD 2,811 per tonne.
Forward values also weakened. The December 26 bid came in at USD 2,828 per tonne, down 0.53 per cent from USD 2,843 per tonne on November 20. The December 26 offer dropped to USD 2,833 per tonne, a 0.53 per cent decline from USD 2,848 per tonne previously.
The LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price on November 21 stood at USD 2,619.50 per tonne.
Exchange stocks edged higher. LME aluminium opening stock on November 21 rose to 548,000 tonnes, up 0.72 per cent from 544,075 tonnes on November 20.
Live warrants increased to 490,725 tonnes, a 1.22 per cent rise from 484,800 tonnes, while cancelled warrants fell to 57,275 tonnes, down 3.38 per cent from 59,275 tonnes.
Separately, LME alumina Platts was assessed at USD 319.15 per tonne.
