LME aluminum price rises on Mar 21, hit 11-week high

Due to the rebound in demand from China, the world's largest consumer, aluminum prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) rose by US$28.5 on March 21 to an 11-week high.

According to customs, China imported about 720,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and other aluminum products from January to February this year, soaring by 93.6% from the same period in 2023.
