LME benchmark aluminium price notes US$199.50/t Y-o-Y slump reaching US$2194.50/t; SHFE aluminium price descends by 0.79%

On November 22, the LME aluminium live price chart experienced mixed price trends, with the LME aluminium cash bid price and the LME aluminium official price shedding US$7 per tonne or 0.32 per cent to officially close at US$2,194 per tonne and US$2,194.50 per tonne.
When the LME aluminium price on November 22, last year, is taken into account, we can find a Year-on-Year degradation of US$199.50 per tonne or 8.33 per cent from US$2,394 per tonne recorded that day.

London Metal Exchange graph displayed that the 3-month bid price and the 3-month offer price slumped by US$2.50 per tonne or 0.11 per cent to arrive at US$2,236.50 per tonne and US$2,237.50 per tonne, respectively.

The December 24 bid price and the December 24 offer price have gained US$2 per tonne or 0.08 per cent, registering a rate of US$2,350 per tonne and US$2,355 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock witnessed a plunge of 2,775 tonnes or 0.58 per cent, arriving at 479,650 tonnes. Live warrants stood at 201,525 tonnes, with a major downfall of 12,000 tonnes or 5.6 per cent. Cancelled warrants halted at 278,125 tonnes, plummeting by 14,775 tonnes or 5.6 per cent.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price stopped at US$2,242.03 per tonne, down US$5.47 per tonne or 0.24 per cent.
