The London Metal Exchange (LME) nickel price increased out of control yesterday (March 8). The abnormal fluctuation of nickel price forced the LME to stop any deal yesterday.

All clearing members have met margin requirements to LME Clear in full. It was expected that the nickel trading will not resume before March 11.

China's Shanghai Stock Exchange also adjusted the trading handling fee yesterday and will take measures depending on the market condition.
