Malaysia’s steel prices fell 0.4-6% in August

Malaysia’s steel prices recorded a month-on-month decrease of between 0.6% and 4% in August, Kallanish notes. The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) says in a statement that the price index per unit of steel and metal sections also recorded a decrease of between 0.3% and 2%.
