Metro Mining plans to resume bauxite mining in North Queensland in Apr

Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, planned to resume the bauxite mining activities in North Queensland on April 19 this year after the rainy season in northern Australia ends.

Metro Mining aimed to mine and ship around 4 million wet tons of bauxite during the April-December period.

According to the supply contract inked by Metro Mining, there will be 2.3 million wet tons of bauxite to be shipped to China's Xinfa Group. Besides, other orders of Metro Mining for this year are under negotiation and well progressing.
