Metro Mining ships over 750,000 tons of bauxite in Aug

Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, reported that its Queensland Bauxite Hills operation shipped 753,101 wet metric tons in August, rising by 6% compared with the same month last year.
The company's year-to-date bauxite shipments have amounted to 3.4 million wet metric tons. Metro Mining's total bauxite shipment goal for 2025 is between 6.5 million and 7 million wet metric tons.
