Mexico starts CVD review on CRC imports from Russia & Kazakhstan

The Secretariat of Economy (SE) of Mexico has launched an administrative review of countervailing duties (CVD) on cold-rolled coil imports, under tariff codes 7209.16.01 and 7209.17, from Russia and Kazakhstan based on the request by local steel producers Ternium Mexico and Altos Hornos de México S.A. de C.V. (AHMSA).

The review period is from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019, and the analysis period covers April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2019.

The current CVD rate on Russia is 15% and that on Kazakhstan is 22%.
