Nippon Steel raises 300 series cold-rolled stainless steel prices for Jan

It was reported that Nippon Steel Stainless Steel Corp (NSSC) announced to raise its domestic sales prices of 300 series stainless steel cold-rolled sheets and coils by 10,000 yen/ton for January this year, due to the rising nickel prices.

It was the sixth increase since NSSC raised its prices in June 2020. The firm has increased a total of 40,000 yen/ton in its stainless steel prices so far.
