NSSC raises chrome series stainless steel wire rod prices for Jul-Sep delivery

Nippon Steel & Sumikin Stainless Steel Corporation (NSSC), the largest stainless steel manufacturer in Japan, announced to keep its prices of SUS304 and other nickel series stainless steel wire rods unchanged for the contract signed in June-August 2020 (July-September delivery.

However, the firm raised the alloy surcharge for SUS430 and other chrome series stainless steel wire rods, but the base price was kept flat.

NSSC again hiked its contract prices of chrome series stainless steel wire rods this time after the contract in December 2019-February 2020.
