Outokumpu & Nordic Steel introduce zero stainless to Norwegian market

Outokumpu, the global leader in stainless steel, has partnered with Nordic Steel, Norway's leading steel technology center, to launch sustainable stainless steel for the first time in Norway.

Outokumpu's Circle Green is the most sustainable stainless steel in the world, with a carbon footprint 92% lower than the industry average. Nordic Steel is working with clients on large and small projects, spanning multiple industries, and has the expertise to add value for clients. The collaboration responds to a sustainable development strategy and makes Nordic Steel the first company in Norway to offer the solution to its customers.

Nordic Steel is currently achieving sustainable solutions through different technologies, and both parties hope that through cooperation, they can achieve sustainable development and decarbonize heavy industry.
