Outokumpu, a leading stainless steel manufacturer in Europe based in Finland, announced its alloy surcharges of stainless steel flat products for September.

According to the adjustment, the surcharge of 304 (EN 1.4301) is EUR 2,191/ton, down by EUR 18/ton; that of 316L (EN 1.4404) is EUR 3,721/ton, rising by EUR 61/ton; that of 430 (EN 1.4016) is EUR 930/ton, sliding by EUR 44/ton. All compared to the previous month.

The increase in 316L surcharges was mainly due to the price hike of ferromolybdenum.
