Pakistan Aluminium Beverage Cans (PABC) planned to increase its annual production capacity of aluminum cans to 1.2 billion cans in the near future from the current 950 million cans to meet the largely increased growth in the market demand.

The capacity expansion was expected to be completed by August 2023, which will fulfill the increasing demand for aluminum cans.

PABC's management said that the company has purchased all necessary machinery for the expansion plan.

In 2022, PABC’s utilization rate reached 88%, obviously increasing from 78% in the previous year.
