South Korean steelmaker POSCO maintained stainless steel prices for August in order to stabilize the market. Meanwhile, the company decided to reduce production in the third quarter to decrease the pressure on supply and demand during the off-season in the domestic market.
POSCO foresaw the potentially severer volatility in the future market, so it planned to stabilize the South Korean market by formulating pricing policies for various industries.
