Press Metal’s third-phase aluminum smelter in Bintulu to start production in Jan 2021

Press Metal, a Malaysian-based aluminum producer, said its third-phase aluminum smelter in Samalaju Industrial Park in Bintulu will start commercial production in two months.
The new aluminum smelter will raise the group's annual production capacity by 42% from 760,000 tons to 1.08 million tons.
Press Metal reported that the group’s net profit was RM121.5mil in the third quarter of this year.
