Rio Tinto maintains bauxite production guidance for 2023

Rio Tinto, the second-biggest mining company in the world, maintained its bauxite production expectations at 54 million to 57 million tons in 2023, and the production guidance for alumina and aluminum was raised to 7.7 million- 8 million tons and 3.1 million-3.3 million tons, respectively.

In 2023, the iron ore shipment in Pilbara was expected to be 320 million to 335 million tons, and mid-term capacity would keep at 345 million to 360 million tons.

In terms of copper, the production of mined copper was targeted at 550,000 tons to 600,000 tons for the fiscal year 2023, and refined copper output would be in a range from 180,000 tons to 210,000 tons.
