Takraf has signed a contract with Rio Tinto to provide integrated in-pit crushing and conveying (IPCC) services to the Simandou iron ore complex in Guinea. The Simandou complex is one of the largest unexploited high-grade iron ore deposits in the world.

Under the contract, Takraf will design, fabricate, and deliver advanced and integrated IPCC services and a material handling system.

The scope of the contract includes two main IPCC systems, consisting of two Takraf X-TREME-class sizers for crushing the extracted ore and there is also a secondary IPCC system for further ore processing.

Takraf Group boasts extensive experience in IPCC systems, and this cooperation is very important for both Takraf and Guinea.
