Rio Tinto's 2022 iron ore shipments keep flat from 2021

Rio Tinto, one of the major iron ore producers in the world, reported that the total iron ore shipments from its mining area in Australia in 2022 were the same as those in 2021, which hit the low end of the company's forecast range.

However, due to the rising costs, estimated production costs were higher than expected. Rio Tinto's total iron ore export quantity in 2022 was 321.6 million tons.
