Russian Krasny Oktyabr's stainless steel production increases in Q1

According to data from Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (USSA), in the first quarter of 2020, the Russian firm Krasny Oktyabr produced totally around 5,800 tons of stainless steel products, which occupied over 25.8% of Russia’s entire national production of stainless steel long products and rolled products in the first quarter.
Data of USSA showed that in the first quarter, the total national production of stainless steel in Russia was around 26,000 tons, an increase of 9.5% compared with the past year.
As for the stainless steel scrap, Russia exported roughly 32,400 tons in the first quarter, a 31.2% growth compared with the same period of last year.
