Russia’s aluminum export value grows by 3.2% in Jan

According to statistics from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the country’s aluminum export value amounted to US$405.9 million in January this year, up by 3.2% compared to the same month a year ago. The exports totaled around 173,000 tons, dropping by 33.3% year on year.
During the period, the export value of refined copper and untreated copper alloys soared by 4.3 times to US$1.08 billion, and the export volume was up greatly by 3.3 times to 116,900 tons, both year on year.
Besides, the exports of primary nickel totaled 50,200 tons in January, generating a revenue of US$971.6 million.
