Russia’s stainless exports to EAEU countries fall in Jan-Oct

According to statistics from the Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (USSA), Russia’s stainless steel exports to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries amounted to around 16,200 tons in the first ten months of this year, dropping by 10.2% compared to the same period a year ago.

Among them, nearly 67% of Russia’s stainless steel was exported to the EAEU countries.

In terms of production, Russia produced around 175,000 tons of stainless steel in the January-October period, a year-on-year increase of 3%. In October alone, the figure was roughly 18,000 tons, rising by 7.6% compared to October last year.
