Russia’s stainless steel imports grow in Nov

According to statistics from the SpetsStal Association, Russia imported around 54,000 tons of stainless steel in November this year, hiking by 72% compared to the previous month.
Among them, the imports of cold-rolled products surged by 168%, hot-rolled products rose by 62%, welded pipes hiked by 56%, seamless pipes grew by 72%, wire declined by 2%, and long products went up by 21.4%.
Russia’s stainless steel imports from China accounted for the largest proportion at 64.4% in the given period. India ranked second with a contributed share of nearly 30%.
