Russia’s stainless steel imports soar in Mar

According to statistics released by the Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (SpetsStal Association), Russia imported around 40,000 tons of stainless steel in March this year, surging by 84% compared to the previous month.
Among them, the imports of cold-rolled stainless steel hiked by 87%, hot-rolled stainless steel rose by 69%, stainless steel long steel products soared by 142%, stainless steel seamless pipes increased by 123%, stainless steel welded pipes grew by 11%, and stainless steel wire rose by 98%, all on a month-on-month basis.
