Severfield 1H Pretax Profit Rises on Higher Activity, Steel Prices

Severfield PLC said Tuesday that its first-half pretax profit and revenue rose, reflecting increased activity and steel prices.

The London-listed structural-steel company said pretax profit for the six months to Sept. 24 rose to 10.2 million pounds ($12.1 million), from GBP7.9 million for the corresponding period a year prior.
