Shenyang Aluminium Institute completes the industrial communication crown block project

The experimental project wireless communication project of multifunctional crown block at Shaanxi Nonferrous Yulin Electrolytic Aluminium Factory was recently finished by Shenyang Aluminum and Magnesium Institute Technology Company (SAMTC). A new generation of industrial communication technology combined with 5GHz fast mobile roaming wireless technology was used in this project to realise the dual-channel wireless hot standby redundant communication of a multifunctional crown block in an electrolysis workshop, providing a brand-new and reliable mobile communication solution for mobile operating equipment such as multifunctional units.
This project addresses several issues encountered in the 24 multifunctional crown blocks at Shaanxi Nonferrous Yulin Electrolytic Aluminium Factory. These issues include frequent communication failures, increased workload for inspection and maintenance, and low efficiency resulting from loose cables and worn or bent protective layers. To tackle these problems, Al-Mg Technology Company has implemented controllers and multipath gateways.
