In a momentous display of collaboration with their industrial tenants, Sohar Port and Freezone introduced the Sohar Net Zero Alliance (SNZA) to advance Oman's ambitious goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
It is worth noting that this alliance is strategically aligned with ENGIE's overarching commitment to decarbonization and sustainable energy solutions on a global scale. Additionally, the SNZA aims to leverage alternative energy sources, promote green power, advance green hydrogen initiatives, and establish a state-of-the-art Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility within the Sohar Port premises to bolster Oman's '2050 Net Zero Commitment'.

The signing event was held on November 5 this year, depicting the official beginning of this incredible partnership highlighting Oman's dedication to sustainable industrial practices.
