South Korea initiates AD investigation on aluminum hydroxide from China & Australia

On June 17, 2021, the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) announced to initiate an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on aluminum hydroxide originating in China and Australia, following applications filed by South Korean company 케이씨주식회사 on April 20, 2021.

The products involved are under HS code 2818.30.9000, excluding raw materials used for the production of special aluminum fluoride (dry, fine, and ultra-fine powder).

The period of AD investigation was from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020.
Except for another extension of two months), the preliminary ruling was expected to be made within three months of the announcement.
