South Korea’s hot-rolled stainless steel wide strip exports grow in Jul

According to data from Korea Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea’s hot-rolled stainless steel wide strip exports were about 44,000 tons in July, increasing by 15.8% month on month and decreasing by 0.8% year on year.
During the period, the exports to Southeast Asia totaled roughly 24,000 tons, of which Thailand, Vietnam, and India accounted for around 16,000 tons, 7,900 tons, and 1,300 tons, respectively.
Besides, South Korea’s 300 series hot-rolled stainless steel exports totaled about 37,000 tons. Among them, Southeast Asia and Europe imported about 19,600 tons and 11,600 tons, respectively.
