South Korea’s stainless steel CRC imports grow in Jan-Nov

According to statistics from the Korea Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea imported a total of around 317,000 tons of cold-rolled stainless steel coils in the first 11 months of this year, growing by 17.4% compared to the corresponding period a year ago.

Among them, imports from China accounted for 40.8%, totaling around 129,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 9.3%. The supply from Vietnam was 81,400 tons, up by 77% year on year. Approximately 17,400 tons were imported from India, a year-on-year surge of 111%.
