South Korea’s stainless steel welded pipe exports & imports decrease in Oct

According to data from Korea Iron and Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea’s stainless steel welded pipe exports were about 2,600 tons in October, increasing by 2% month on month but falling by 15.7% year on year.

Among them, the US imported the most stainless steel welded pipes from South Korea, with about 1,000 tons and accounting for 38% of South Korea’s total exports. The followings were Japan (about 350 tons), Vietnam (about 290 tons), India (about 174 tons), and Indonesia (about 106 tons).

At the same time, South Korea’s stainless steel welded pipe imports totaled 587 tons, dropping by 22.8% from the previous month and slightly decreasing by 0.1% from the same month a year ago.
