The feasibility study review meeting for Southwest Aluminum's super-large and high-performance aluminium alloy extrusion product line project was conducted on December 1st at the Aluminium City Hotel. The expert panel assessed and evaluated the project's feasibility study report, and the project successfully cleared the expert demonstration evaluation.
Representatives from Chinalco Group, Chinalco high-end production departments, China Colour technology and project divisions, Southwest Aluminum's deputy general manager Yang Lu, deputy chief engineer and other relevant professionals attended the project feasibility evaluation conference. Yang Lu, representing Southwest Aluminium, said that Southwest Aluminium is now in a strategic phase of adjusting its industrial structure and undergoing transformation and upgrading. To enhance its core competitiveness, Southwest Aluminium will:
- actively advance the project's implementation,
- strengthen its dominant position in the market for ultra-large-size and high-performance aluminium alloy extrusion,
- drive the shift towards high-end and high-value-added sectors in the industrial structure,
- effectively boost its core competitiveness
Yang Lu desires that specialists will provide more relevant insights throughout the demonstration, fostering the ongoing refinement and enhancement of the feasibility plan. After hearing the report of the appropriate personnel of China Colour Technology on the project proposal and the description of the relevant personnel of Southwest Aluminium in the early stage of the project, and after on-site questioning and answering questions, the expert group believes that the preparation of the feasibility study report of the project meets the requirements of national laws and regulations and industry norms. The project's construction meets the requirements of federal laws and regulations and industry norms. The Expert Group decided to approve the project's feasibility evaluation.
