After shipping fees in China decreased, the situation of container surplus kept increasing. Because the global market reopened and port congestion gradually eased, the demand for logistics and containers went down.

The average year of container usage was ten to twelve years generally, and stainless steel plays a critical role in container manufacturing. Because the price of fixing a container is half of buying a new one, the enterprises would choose to buy a new one, which could stabilize the market demand.

Besides that, China is planning to implement new energy-saving policies. Higher consumption of new energy or natural gas would boost the need for tank containers. As a consequence, China’s stainless steel demand was expected to rise in the future.
