Stainless steel mill Qingdao Pohang to have 1-week maintenance at end-June

According to the report, Qingdao Pohang Stainless Steel, which is a mill in Shandong province and owned by POSCO, will begin its maintenance in later June and the maintenance will last for a week. This maintenance will affect approximately 5,000 tons of output, especially the production of 400 series.

In addition to the mill maintenance, there was a fire broke out that happened at another POSCO’s steel mill in Pohang, South Korea. Although many issues happened around POSCO’s subsidiaries, POSCO still claimed that there were no disruptions to its production.
