Prices of steel products have increased by Rs5,000 per ton on Tuesday.
As per the media reports, prices of Cold Rolled Coil (CRC) and Hot Dipped Galvanized Coil (HDGC) have reached Rs256,450 per ton, and Rs265,800 per ton respectively after the latest increase.
Steel rebar prices witnessed a cumulative increase of Rs12,000 per ton since October 31.
During the period, prices have increased from Rs259,000-264,000 to Rs266,000-272,000.
As per the insiders, recent increase in steel prices will further slow any developments.
