Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- Workers at the Chollima Steel Complex have increased the steel production on a large scale since the start of the 80-day campaign as compared with the same period last year.

Officials in the complex prioritized efforts to the supply of raw materials while solving the problems arising in the production in time.

Smelters at the steel shop are producing lots of molten iron while reducing the repairing time of the UHP electric arc furnace.

Workers at the rolling shop are increasing the production of rolled steel by raising the operation ratio of heating furnaces and rolling mills and workers at the Posan Iron Works are over-fulfilling the production plan of Juche iron by propelling the modernization project.
