After a one-year investigation, Taiwan’s International Trade Commission (ITC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has confirmed that the imports of aluminum foils from China caused material injury on Taiwan’s domestic market.

The result has been passed to the Ministry of Finance, and the final determination of anti-dumping (AD) measures was expected to be made in August, with a duty imposition of 19.42-31.36%.

The Ministry of Finance imposed a provisional AD duty on the products involved in February this year, with the highest duty rate of 32.36% for a period of four months.

The initial investigation was launched based on the application filed by C.S. Aluminium Corporation (CSAC).
