After China's lockdown policy was loosened, the epidemic spread, and many factory employees were absent from work due to the diagnosis. Coupled with market price recovery, before the production lines of Chinese steel mills stabilized, Taiwanese mills benefited from the effect of reordering.

In the case of this wave of the export boom, downstream manufacturers have also begun to chase raw materials, and order volume received by upstream steel mills has increased by 30% recently. Therefore, upstream mills raised their offers one after another and even made up for the previous price differences.

This blooming situation is abnormal before the Chinese New Year compared to previous years, showing in both price and volume. However, downstream companies believed that this is a short-term reordering effect and an abnormal trend.
