China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, announced to maintain its prices for November, including hot-rolled coil/ plate, cold-rolled coil, electro-galvanized (EG) steel coil, hot-dip galvanized steel coil, and electrical steel (ES) coil. The new prices were in line with market expectations.

CSC said that in spite of the uncertainty of the global economy, high steelmaking costs have supported international steel prices, and downstream inventories have also been at a reasonable level. CSC kept prices unchanged to encourage downstream buyers to actively take orders and digest stocks effectively.
