Taiwan’s CSC raises prices of certain steel products for Dec

China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, announced its prices for December.

Among them, the price of hot-rolled coils applicable to rolling materials and API was hiked by NT$300/ton, and that for other major products such as hot-rolled steel plates/ coils, cold-rolled steel coils, and coated steel was all kept unchanged.

CSC said that the global steel market, including the end market in Europe and America, has a clear outlook, which will boost steel exports in Asia, and the rising steel prices in the European and American markets were expected to bring recovery in Asia.
