The recent trend in Taiwan's domestic galvanized steel coils shows a rising tendency. According to distributors, besides Taiwan's China Steel Corporation (CSC) increased steel plate prices for August, the situation of scheduled maintenance or production reduction in some galvanizing plants had led to shortages when downstream customers tried to restock. As a result, the supplying factories have raised their prices, causing the market prices to follow suit.
