Benefiting from higher stainless steel prices and sales volume, Taiwan’s stainless steel mills, including Yieh Hsing, Tang Eng, Ta Chen, and Froch, have increased their performance in March.

Among them, Ta Chen’s consolidated revenue totaled around NT$12.15 billion in March, up by 35.12% compared to the previous month and also rising by 49.9% from the same month a year ago, hitting a new monthly high. The growth in Ta Chen’s March performance was due to the long working days, which increased shipments during the period. The monthly shipment of stainless steel in March rose to 20,000 tons.

In the first quarter of this year, Ta Chen’s consolidated revenue was roughly NT$30.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 43.63%.
