According to the latest prices from the stainless steelmakers in Taiwan, most of them did increase the stainless steel price for August, mainly supported by the strong nickel price.

In the near 3 months, the nickel price kept increasing gradually, reached US$12,200/ton in May, US$12,700/ton in June, and US$13,380/ton in July.

Based on that, some of the market participants mentioned the increasing range was over expected.
