Taiwan’s stainless steel scrap imports soar in Sep

According to Taiwan's Customs statistics, Taiwan's stainless steel scrap imports amounted to 13,088 tons in September, significantly rising by 46% compared to the previous month.

Among them, the imports from the US accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 5,100 tons, soaring by 52% month on month. Japan ranked second with about 2,000 tons, up by 2.2% from the previous month. Japan was followed by Australia’s 1,900 tons and Thailand’s 1,300 tons.
