Chung Hung Steel Corporation (CHS) and China Steel Corporation (CSC) increased their prices of cold-rolled, hot-rolled, and galvanized steel products by NT$500/ton for October, and Taiwan's upstream steel pipe prices for October will soon be announced.

Due to the rise in raw material prices, Taiwan's pipe mills might follow to increase their prices for October. However, the pipe demand is not good in the current market and has difficulty reflecting the high raw material costs in September. It was expected that the pipe price would take time to be observed and accepted by buyers.
