Taiwan’s Tang Eng hikes stainless steel prices for Nov

Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., one of the main stainless steel manufacturers in Taiwan, hiked its new prices of stainless steel products for November today (October 31).

According to the price adjustment, the price of 304 cold-rolled and hot-rolled stainless was hiked by NT$1,500/ton, and the surcharge of 316L was raised by NT$5,000/ton. The base price of 304 cold-rolled and hot-rolled stainless steel for exporting was up by US$0-50/ton depending on different regions.

Tang Eng’s price adjustment was similar to that of Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), another leading stainless steel mill in Taiwan.
