Following Yieh United Steel Corp.’s (Yusco) lead, Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., another main upstream stainless steel mill in Taiwan, announced its March pricing today (February 26).

The company raised the price of 304 series products by NT$2,000 per ton, and the surcharge for 316L stainless steel was also increased by NT$2,000 per ton.

This adjustment was the same as the scale of Yusco’s price hike yesterday. With this latest update, Tang Eng’s prices have risen for four consecutive months, showing a continued upward trend in the stainless steel market.
